Deriner Dam and HEPP - Arch Dam Geometry Software has been completed
 | Deriner Dam is the biggest for Turkey and the 3rd biggest for the world as a arch dam. And we completed the software to be used for the preliminary works and at the construcrion stage of this giant structure. Deriner arch dam is a double curvature dam at a height of 253 meters, its crest length is 720 meters, concrete volume is 3.5 x 106 m3, upstream face is composed of 1 and downstream face is of 3 parabolas.
| Since it is almost impossible to make geometric calculations of this structure by hand, it was obviously feeled the need for a software to be used both for preliminary works and the at the construction stage.

| So we developed a software to be used in AutoCAD, which is well known among the technical staff and also used at the dam site. That way, there was no need for training period for another software.
| The software is capable of taking both horizontal and vertical cross-sections from anywhere of the arch dam. It can draw all the bays (about 2000 at total) one by one, all for a desired elevation, all for a desired block or for all arch dam. It can place all the formworks on the geometry and give all necessary calculations needed for the construction works as lengths, areas, volumes, coordinates,...and easliy extract these values into Microsoft Excel. Preliminary works for formworks has also been completed by this software.
